Today we had a great swedisch breakfast in the hotel and left about 8.30 up north. Ruud had a problem with his windows mobile tom tom, suddenly all the maps disappeared. We were lucky to have another gps with navigation. We had a small lunch on a picknick spot and continued our trip to a place with a nice cabin near forde. We have a splendid view from our cabin.
Today we travelled via Puttgarden, Robey, Helsingor, Helsingborg to a nice Swedisch hotel in Margretetorps. There were a lot of construction on the road especially in Germany and our trip took a bit longer than planned. We are lucky to have internet in the room so we can update the website. We tryed to work OJ0B on 20m from the car but could not get trough the pile up, also because we have only 5 watts qrp when mobile on HF.

This morning we depart for our dxpedition to Norway. We will drive by car via Germany, Danmark and Sweden to Norway. We will be mobile qrv on 20 metres with phone and digital modes.

At this moment we are busy preparing. We have tested Ruuds new generator succesfully. I have tested the laptop digital interfacing with the Yaesy FT2000 and succesfully worked with this configuration in the DL DX RTTY contest. We will use a spiderbeam for 20, 15 and 10 metres and a dipole with open feeder on 80, 40 and warc bands. For 160m we have a separate dipole. On VHF we will use a kenwood TS2000 and linear amplifier with 9 element tonna, on 6m we wil use a HB9CV antenna.

At this moment we are busy preparing for the trip. We found accomodation and are planning our travel and materials. I have activated the EU-055 at rgsbiota and we are listed on MMMonVHF
